UK Jobs

The UK Jobs market has flourished in the last 5 years, with falling unemployment rates. As per the records of the Office for National Statistics (ONS), the number of jobs abroad in the UK job market has risen by 16,000 to an estimated 870,000 in the three months to January 2019. This is the highest level since comparable records were started back in 2001. One of the best things to notice about the UK Jobs scenario as per the ONS is the record low unemployment rate of 4%, with employment rising by a joint-record high of 75.8% at the end of 2018.

You will be glad to know that the estimated employment rate for both men and women between the age group of 16 to 64 has been plummeting since 2012. Estimates for December 2018 to February 2019 show 32.72 million people aged 16 years and above in employment which is 457,000 more than for a year earlier.
